Man held-up at Reclamation
A 26-year-old male was robbed by the commercial sex worker, whom he paid for the night, and the girl's live-in partner at the Reclamation Area in Bacolod City Thursday.
Police identified the victim as Junnie Madoramente of Sagay City.
Initial police investigation showed that Madoramente met the woman, identified as Dina Fuentez, at the public plaza where they agreed on a price for sex.
However, it appeared that after the two made it out in a hotel and were about to say their goodbye's, the girl's live-in partner Herman Manguinlimutan appeared, grabbed and choked the victim's neck while the woman took his wallet.
Madoramente said his wallet only contained P250 cash.
Both Maguinlimutan and Fuentez are detained at the Police Precinct 1 detention cell.
Meanwhile, City Police Director Pedro Merced has warned men to be wary of the girls they choose and pick-up to avoid similar incidents.
In other reports, a couple was caught in the act of snatching a man's cellphone in Rizal-Gatuslao Street Thursday evening.
Police identified them as Robert Hermoso, 29, and Floridel Vergel, 29, both of Purok Paglaum, Barangay 17 in Bacolod City.
Police reports said the victim, Phoebe Okuma, a resident of Barangay 3 in Victorias City, was walking at the place at about 9 p.m. when PO2 Norman Doromal of Police Precinct 1 saw Hermoso and Vergel suddenly snatch his Nokia 6070 cellphone.
The couple is still detained at the Police Precinct 1 detention cell. (NCD)
