Arinday: Psalm
By G.H. Arinday, Jr.

(Note: This idea is adopted from the expression of happiness and prayers of those who passed and allowed to take their oath as nurses by the Professional Regulatory Commission.)

Sun.Star Network Online coverage on journalist Marlene Esperat's murder case

1
MUST express from the innermost chamber of my heart that you have answered a thousand prayers accompanied by the copious flowing of tears in seeking your loving kindness that I did not cheat in any manner when I took the licensure examination in nursing.

2
Indeed, how the Merciful One answers the prayers of a soul embittered by the viciousness of some who created the mess for material greed and put a front of being a review school with qualitative excellence when there is none to speak of save for the high review fees.

3
Oh, merciful God, you have lifted my spirit and I could feel the heavenly bless when through your own mysterious ways have guided the authorities to distinguish the grains from the husks and during those trying moments. I did not take to heels but instead took humble pie knowing that by losing heart and abandoning the missionary zeal and spirit of Florence Nightingale, my prayers would sound like tinkling cymbals.

4
But I must confess, O Lord that those trying moments almost zapped my strength and with my firm faith in your loving kindness, I walk through my way to seek solace and spiritual strength from your Infinite Power even in Cimmerian darkness.

5
Now with your spiritual guidance and the liberation from anguish, agony, and frustration through your divine intervention, my body and soul are cleansed by the wounds inflicted by the devil's books.

6
Oh Lord of Mercy, make me your instruments in caring for other people through the knowledge you have infused in me and I shall always carry your concerns for the needy as well as the sick as it is through your blessings that I may be able to extend my helping hand.

7
I am not even thinking of being caviare to the general as my simple quest is to serve my fellow humans and be humble as one going to Canossa as Pope Hildebrand did by being barefoot even in the snow.

8
I know Lord Almighty you have answered the countless prayers and felt their agonizing moments as I did undergo and it is only through your divine mercy that we have realized our dreams after grueling years of taking up this noble mission to serve Humankind to make a livelier and healthier world to live in by the toils of our woken nights.

9
Through your spirit of benevolence, it is now our turn to give meaning the support and answers to our prayers that we must carry the vocation with honor and honesty and without your guidance we cannot accomplish this task with nobility.

10
A coelo usque ad centrum-from heaven to the center of the universe-there is no obstacle that we shall not overcome with your Divine guiding hand. We are really at a loss for words on how you have helped up. How grateful are we! Oh, great God of heaven and earth, it is only through honest endeavors no matter what the costs are that we can fulfill the destiny you have created for us through which we can manifest our missions as children of God.

11
We are now set on a journey to display the knowledge we have stored in the neurons of our mental processes but it is always through your guidance that we shall seek the pathways to righteousness and the fulfillment of the mission to help the countless number of our brethrens who are in dire need of the services of our profession.

12
Oh, Lord Almighty, we shall always look forward to your spiritual guidance and we must confess that our gratitude to your kindness can only be manifested through faithful compliance of our oath as well as our prayers for the Savior of Mankind to teach us more in dealing with our brothers and sisters.
