THREE of the administration's senatorial bets are expected to have a two-day campaign in the different districts here in Negros Occidental on March 1 and 2.

Third district Representative Carlos "Kako" Lacson made the announcement during a press conference Tuesday.

Lacson said senatorial candidates former Chief of Staff Michael "Tol" Defensor, incumbent Senator Edgardo Angara and Zambales Governor Vicente "Vic" Magsayasay is set to stage their campaign here for the Team Unity under President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

Defensor who earlier went to Don Salvador Benedicto town to graced the Kali-kalihan Festival and inaugurated the new set of officers of the Negros Defense Press Corps, is set to campaign in Bago City.

Magsaysay and Angara, on the other hand, is expected to campaign in the fifth and fourth district, respectively.

Meanwhile, President Arroyo is also expected to visit the province on March 9.

Negros Occidental Governor Joseph Marañon said President Arroyo is expected to attend the ground-breaking ceremony for the establishment of a community airport in Kabankalan City and the inauguration of the irrigation projects in the town of Isabela.

A source from the Malacañang, however, said that the President will not be present for the ground-breaking in Kabankalan City.
