LNA7 inter-barkada caging resumes today

GAMES of the ongoing LNA7 Sports Foundation sponsored Inter-Barkada Basketball Championship resumes Tuesday at the refurbished West Negros College gym with the scheduled clash between BBA and BAD BOYZ at 7:30 p.m.

Games are open to the public for free, according to tournament organizers.

The rest of the tournament schedule for this week following the Holy Week break features NOBC versus PROBAC at 7:30 P.M., Thursday, April 12.

This Saturday, April 14, a double header starts at 5:30 P.M., with the encounter between PBO and Filsino followed at 7:00 P.M. by the battle between Nhoj's Sportswear Philippines and RG Purefoods.

Sunday's three-game schedule on April 15 kicks off at 2:00 p.m. with the BAD BOYZ against Toyota tussle then at 3:30 P.M., NOBC tries its luck against Po's Marketing and the last game at 5 P.M.,  features PROBC versus Njoj's.

Ten teams are seeing action in this summer series with Bracket 'A' squads Toyota, Filsino, Provincial Budget Office (PBO), BAD BOYZ and BBC while grouped together in Bracket B are RG Purefoods, NOBC, Po's Marketing, PROBC and Nhoj's Sportswear Philippines.

The tournament is being staged following the modified Paserelle system which enables all players in a lineup to see an all scheduled games.

The series involves a single elimination round, while the semi-final round features a crossover match among the top-ranked teams and the championship round will be a best-of-three matches between the semi-final winners.
