Fatalities were Lieutenant Joey Lacson and Private First Class Leo Erasmo.
While the three others injured were Private First Class Roldan Nodalo, Joemil Jamillaren, and Renre Concepcion.
Soldier-victims belong to the Army's 32nd Reconnainsance Unit based in Barangay Bato.
Task Group North Commander Felicisimo Budiongan, in a phone interview with Sun.Star Bacolod Friday night, said the shooting incident transpired after a heated argument between Erasmo and Lacson.
While on formation for physical accounting of troops, Budiongan said both Lacson and Erasmo were exchanging words, which resulted to amok.
Sagay City Police Office Chief William Señoron, on the other hand, said they are now trying their very best to know the motive of the crime, among others.
