Arroyo to pursue Negros visit on the 13th of July By Erwin Ambo S. Delilan
BAD or good luck, President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo will push through her visit in Negros Occidental and Bacolod this coming Friday the 13th, a source from Malacanang said.
The source, however, said there will be no blessing of the New Bacolod (Silay) Airport in Barangay Bagtic, Silay City, but only inspection of the nearly-completed P5 billion infra project under her administration.

The President will just visit and inspect the new airport, the source added.
From Silay, the President will also lead the launching of "Go Negosyo" sa Bacolod caravan aimed at drumming up entrepreneurial interest in Bacolod and Negros.
After which, the President may meet Governor Joseph Marañon and other local officials in the province for some important agenda.
Probably, it will be CARP (Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program) or the President may formally announce the appointment of Presidential Adviser for Western Visayas Rafael Coscolluela as the new chief of the Sugar Regulatory Administration (SRA), the source added.
The source, however, said it was not yet clear whether the President will grant or not a press conference with the local media.
Arroyo will go back to Malacañang in the afternoon. For more Philippine news, visit Sun.Star Manila.
