A half kilo of dried leaves of marijuana was dropped by unidentified person at the Circumferential road of Barangay Cabug, Pahanocoy and Handumanan, Monday morning.
Police operatives from Police Station 9, said the marijuana was wrapped in a newspaper.
SPO1 Rey Rios, case investigator said that the suspect was reportedly riding on a single motorcycle and upon seeing the police operatives from the said place, he immediately dropped the said illegal drugs.
“We are there for the Oplan Sita Operation, a round-the-clock operation of the policemen,” Rios said yesterday in a phone interview with Sun.Star Bacolod.
“Maybe upon seeing the roving mobile patrol, the person who was riding in a motorcycle just dropped something. When checked and monitored.
Meanwhile Bacolod City Police Director Ronilo Quebrar said that they will also strengthen the massive campaign on illegal drugs in the city.
