ARMY troopers recovered some firearms along with some subversive documents and personal belongings which is suspected to be of the New People’s Army camping in the boundaries of Isabel town in Negros Occidental and Guihulngan, Negros Oriental.
The discovery of the said facilities is the product of great efforts and massive military operations to maintain peace and order and fight insurgency in the province.
Colonel Jess Manangquil, Army Battalion Commander said their operation will continue as they go after these rebel groups who established themselves into small groups.
Recovered were M-16 rifle, two garands, one carbine and a 357 caliber revolver.
