THE Negros Occidental Baston Federation, in cooperation with the Union of Martial Arts Organizations of Negros and the International Modern Arnis Federation of the Philippines, spearheaded last week a refresher course in arnis officiating at the AMA Computer Learning Center, Bacolod City.
The event was in preparation for the 1st Bacolod KaliSilat Invitational Sports Arnis Tournament on September 29 and 30, 2007 at the Gaisano City Mall.
Initiating the course were Rosauro de Leon, KaliSilat founder Danilo Cardinal and Alex Librando.
The 1st Bacolod Kalisilat Invitational Sports Arnis Tournament will be participated in by arnis players from Bacolod, provinces of Negros Occidental, Iloilo, Capiz, Antique, Guimaras, and Manila.
