Cauayan dad passes away

COUNCILOR Hernani Tabujara of Cauayan town in southern Negros passed away due to pneumonia complication at the Riverside Medical Center in Bacolod City 4 a.m. Monday.

He was 66.

Tabujara, an uncle of former mayor Jerry Tabujara also of Cauayan, had suffered from heart attack last September 17, 2006.

According to the former mayor, his uncle suffered from a stroke during the town’s council session wherein he accidentally fell on the floor.

The victim was in his second term as councilor in Cauayan.

He used to be the town’s postmaster before he joined politics four years ago.

His body now lies at Barangay Poblacion in Cauayan. Interment has yet to be announced. (JSG)
