Based on satellite monitoring, "Ineng", as of Tuesday night, was estimated at 810 kilometers east of northern Luzon with maximum winds of 65 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 80 kph.

It is also forecasted to remain almost stationary.

PDMT disclosed that Visayas will experience monsoon rains becoming frequent over the western sections.

Based on a consolidated report from the Provincial Social Welfare and Development office (PSWDO), a total of 211 houses in various parts of the province were left damaged by typhoon "Hanna".

"Hanna" exited the country only the other day.

Of the 211 houses, 22 were destroyed while 189 were damaged.

Three houses were destroyed in La Carlota City, 20 in Pontevedra, six in San Enrique, 125 in Valladolid, 28 in Hinigaran, three in Isabela and 26 in Hinoba-an.

Gov. Joseph Marañon instructed the PSWDO to immediately assist in the reconstruction and rehabilitation of damaged houses.

Both the province and local government units of the affected areas have already extended relief assistance that includes the distribution of rice, noodles, and sardines.
