Delilan: Remembering my Tito Utak, etc
By Erwin Ambo Delilan
The Buzz

THIS year's observance of All Saints' and All Souls' days will be special for me.

Because this is the first time that I will remember my Tito Utak (Rolando Sales) who was killed in a freak accident along Tabigue Hi-way on April 20 this year.

Post comments here on President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo's grant of pardon to former President Joseph Estrada.

Post your comments on the explosion at the Glorietta 2 mall in Makati City.

Until now, I can't imagine that Tito Utak is already gone in this world.

I admit that of all my relatives especially my uncles, Tito Utak is really special to me.

Probably because he's my only uncle whom I can confide my problems including my heartaches both in my parents and works.

That's why when he passed away, I asked myself: to whom I will confide my problems now?

Well, I have no choice but to face the reality that Tito Utak is already gone.

And whether I like it or not, Tito Utak is already resting in peace while I continue to battle the odds in my life, in my family, in my work, etc.

But I know that like our usual bonding, Tito Utak is always at my side helping me to cope every problem I have.

Because when he was still alive, every time he has problem, I am also 24-hour available for him.

Meanwhile, aside from Tito Utak, of course, I will also visit the resting places of my other departed loved ones - Lolo Igna and Lola Eta Sales, Lolo Moises and Lola Meding Delilan, my cousins Joemarie and Joseph Lamayo, among others.

Hope they will still guide me as I am still facing a lot of trials in my life.
