Thursday, November 08, 2007 4 'gang rape' suspects identified By Jerome S. Galunan, Jr.
THE Murcia police have already identified the four alleged suspects who reportedly gang raped a housewife in Barangay Minoyan, Murcia Sunday.
Murcia Police Office Chief Arnold Mesias disclosed that they had already filed rape charges against the suspects. Mesias, however, refused to name them.
"We don't like to reveal yet the suspects' identities to the public not until everything will be confirmed. We also don't like our investigation to be hampered," Mesias stressed.
The victim, 25, was already sleeping with her husband and two children.
At the middle of their sleep, the husband and wife were awakened to find the suspects already inside their house.
They hogtied and blindfolded the husband and raped the wife for almost two hours. The case is still being investigated as of press time.
