Activities will kick off Monday with a simultaneous prayer during the flag ceremonies and masses, and to be followed by the launching of Peace Bulletin Boards, hoisting of streamers for peace by the provincial government, all government units, Department of Education, Negros Occidental Private Schools Sports, Cultural and Educational Association, Diocesses of Bacolod, Kabankalan and San Carlos, convenors and supporting agencies.
The "Hataw for Peace" at the Capitol Lagoon will be the starting event, but will run until Dec. 3.
There will be also a peace caravan to be joined by Negros Occidental Provincial Police Office, Negros Occidental Cycling Association and the Department of Interior and Local Government.
A Forum on Family Relationship and Parenting will be held at Bascon Hotel.
While the First Council Peace Camp and the Peace Pole Installation will be held at the Governor's Office and with the Provincial Youth Development Council at the Provincial Park.
Meanwhile, a Peace Youth Summit for Senior Scouts and Peace Youth Congress for Boy Scouts will also be held tomorrow at the Panaad Stadium and Recreational Park in Barangay Mansilingan.
Furthermore, a Basic Course on Transformative Mediation at the Governor's Social Hall, Aikido - A Peaceful Art at Panaad and a Forum on Family Relationship and Parenting for Indigenous People are also scheduled to open Tuesday.
On the other hand, a Symposium on Human Security Act is set on Wednesday at the Student Activity Center in West Negros College alongside Aikido-A Peaceful Art at St. Scholastica's Academy.
Other events include are the School Level Peace Forum for all DepEd-Divisions and Supreme Student Governments, Symposium on Building a Culture of Peace in Negros and Peace Camp on Thursday, Nov. 29.
On Friday, a Peace Concert is set at the Negros Multi-Purpose Gym to be led by the Provincial Youth Development Council and Public Affairs Division. This is open to all.
On Saturday, activities are the Forum on Solid Waste Management, Poster Making for Peace, an exhibit on different perspective for peace and a film showing of a documentary of Negros Island.
On Sunday, the Bantay Bata Christmas Tree of Hope will be set up at the SM City-Bacolod.
Finally, on Monday next week, activities scheduled before the closing ceremony are the division level visual arts & literary competition; the Probationers, Parolees and Conditional Pardonees' Recollection; Forum on Promoting of Human Rights and their Responsibilities, the Launching of No to War Toys Campaign, and the launching of Traffic Enforcement Campaign; the Lantern and Quilt Parade and the peace prayer and cultural presentations.
