THE Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. board of directors on Monday appointed Engineer Edwin Montemayor as the power coop's new general manager.
Montemayor's appointment was contained in a board resolution dated November 26, 2007.
Montemayor rose from the ranks and later become the chief of Ceneco's Technical Services Division.
Among those who applied for the GM position to be vacated by Henry Sia,Montemayor was the only one who passed the battery of tests conducted by the National Electrification Authority.
Montemayor's appointment has the endorsement of the Ceneco employees' union and the upper management. (GABS)
