Inmates join parol making contest
CREATIVITY among the inmates of Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) Negros Occidental will be put to test in a Parol Making Contest 2007 organized by Robinsons Place Bacolod and dyRL from Monday to December 14.

Dubbed as "Lift Little Souls & Make Them Shine This Christmas," the contest is the first ever to be held inside the mall.
Deadline of entries will be on Nov. 30 and will be displayed at the front parking area on Dec. 1.
Entries will be judged based on originality, credibility, workmanship, concept and design, significance and message.
Prizes at stake are P5,000 cash plus P5,000 worth of groceries for the grand prize winner; P3,000 cash plus P3,000 worth of groceries for the 1st runner-up winner; P2,000 cash plus P2,000 worth of groceries for the 2nd runner-up winner; P1,000 cash plus P1,000 worth of groceries each for the 3rd and 4th winners.
Consolation winners will receive P500 worth of groceries. Awarding ceremony will be on December 18, 2007 at 10 a.m. at the fountain area.
