Insurance firm inaugurates new office
The New India Assurance Co. Ltd. has inaugurated its Bacolod service office on Wednesday.

Deputy Commissioner of the Insurance Commission Vida Chiong and prominent Indian businessman Ajit Gidwani led the ceremonial cutting of the ribbon.
NIAC is one of the oldest insurance companies in India.
Rev. Fr. Rodolfo "Boy" Tan officiated the blessing and inauguration. Dr. Balla Swamy is manager for Philippines operations of New India.
Chiong told the gathering about the adequate paid-up capital and net worth of The New India Assurance Co.
Chiong said the company is a leading player in the Visayas Region taking Bacolod as a strategic location.
Garry Abdon, assistant general manager, thanked all the agents, insurance industry associates, and business community for attending the inauguration.
