The victim, believed to be beheaded somewhere else and was only carried by the strong water current to Panaosawon, was clad in t-shirt and jogging pants.

Police officer Ronilo Maru, case investigator, said fishermen discovered the body at around 5:40 a.m.

Based on police's assessment, the man was probably killed 24 hours prior to the discovery of his headless body.

As of Wednesday night, Maru said no one has claimed the body yet at the Saravia Funeral Homes also in EB Magalona.
