Where's Warlito Go?

WHERE'S Councilor Warlito Go? The councilor is nowhere to be found now after criminal charges were filed against him before the Silay City Prosecutor's Office Tuesday.

Go, owner of Wilmar Theater in Silay City, was charged with violation of Article 201 of the Revised Penal Code, Republic Act (RA) 7610 or the Anti-Child Abuse Law, and Section 261 of the Revised Penal Code.

This was after police who raided the theater caught employees showing pornographic films.

According to City Prosecutor Ma. Loraine Atutubo, Go has not yet appeared before her office since the filing of the case until Thursday.

However, she expects Go to come out in the open to answer the accusations against him once he is issued a subpoena.

Senior Inspector Rico Santotome, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) -Anti Illegal Task Force chief, said that aside from Go, two movie house employees were also charged.

Both, however, are minors so they were held in custody by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) in Silay City.

Santotome's group confiscated 33 pieces of pornographic video tapes, a widescreen and a projector, movie tickets, a DVD player, and P820 cash inside the theater. (JSG)
