KALIBO, Aklan - Coaches from different sports discipline will be meeting today at 8 a.m. as the official opening of the 2008 Western Visayas Private Schools and Cultural Athletic Meet reels off tomorrow.
The meeting will serve as the venue for the tournament managers and the coaches to finalize the guidelines to be implemented in the weeklong sports competition.
According to Jay Biñas, one of the TMs that the meeting will able the coaches to clear things pertaining to their respective events to avoid conflicts that will arise especially in the later part of the competition.
He further said that as officials, they want to run the competition smoothly and not to hinder athlete's focus and disregard their talents just because of technicalities.
On the other hand, host-Aklan has a well-prepared billeting area for the different competing delegations for this event.
