Tuesday, March 25, 2008 Restaurant accreditation seminar set April 11
THE Bacolod City Tourism Office is inviting all Bacolod restaurant owners/associations, tourism council members and other tourism stakeholders to a one-day consultation seminar on the rules and regulations governing the accreditation of restaurants in Cebu City Parklane Hotel on April 11.
The consultation/seminar will present to the body for consultation the rules and regulations as proposed by the Office of Tourism Standards of the Department of Tourism.
The proposal classifies restaurants based on type of services, cuisine and concept. Several meetings with restaurant industry stakeholders in Metro Manila were also held, incorporating their inputs in the draft.
Once approved, the rules shall be implemented nationwide thus the need for consultations.
