Friday, May 23, 2008 Jewelry entrepreneurship workshop re-scheduled
THE jewelry entrepreneurship workshop of The Negros Museum, in cooperation with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, was moved to June 25 to 29.
The 4-day intensive workshop will cover conceptualization, design principles, creation of high-quality jewelry accessories and will feature two exhibit openings during the week (Atelier San Gabriel's exhibit, including Fray Paolo's art pieces and an exhibit for sale of the workshop output).
Participants would be trained how to select materials for their works, introduced to techniques for making fast and durable designs and taught how to cost and package their products.
Registration fee is P2,000. Fee covers workshop fee, jewelry tool kit, handouts and lunch.
Materials and supplies (beads, wires, stones, etc) at reasonable costs are also available during the workshop.
