UNO-R student-leaders attend seminar
STUDENT leaders of the University of Negros Oriental (UNO-R) attended a three-day seminar-workshop on servant leadership at the Sta. Monica Retreat House and the university mini-gym last May 21-23.
The university's Supreme Student Government officers, representatives of the different college councils and campus organizations, totaling to 33 participants, attended the workshop organized by the UNO-R Office of Student Affairs.

Faraon Lopez expounded on the topic of 'servant leadership'; Jessie Cadiz talked about the 'self and others'; Myrna Baynosa discussed the importance of prayer in leadership; Rev. Fr. Antonio Limchaypo, OAR, talked on the myths about leadership while Elena Doruelo discussed the different leadership skills and principles. Rev. Fr. Joel Alve, OAR, meanwhile, lectured on 'tatak Rekoleto' and Fernando Flores discussed 'leadership in today's society'.
UNOSSGO president Noami Channel Dimayuga headed the annual planning of activities while Carlos Legaspi Jr. talked about management and planning.

Ma. Nerimar Acuña, John Rich Olvido, Erold Cebua, Joyce Diaz, Honelee Dela Torre, Beljun Ray Tulod, Jefferson Nagtalon, Ma. Lourdes David, Hannah Divina Bocol, Shemamee Clavecillas, Robert Nicole Pesca, Glezia Marie Perez, Rhodney Canada, Channel Dimayuga, Krizel Javellana, Desiree Natibo-oc.
The workshop was aimed "at instilling upon these young leaders the real essence of serving and to carve in them the emblem of a real recollect student leader."
