USLS leads Shakey's Girls Volley League standings
HOST University of St. La Salle-Integrated School remains on top of the eight-team standings in the ongoing 2008 Shakey's Girls Volleyball League Negros Occidental eliminations at the USLS College covered court.
USLS carries a 4-0, win-loss slate, followed by St. Joseph's School-La Salle (2-1); Doņa Hortensia Salas Benedicto National High School of La Carlota City (2-1); Bata National High School (2-1); Negros Occidental High School (1-2); Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (1-3) and St. Benilde School (0-4).

The La Salle squad posted a 25-15, 25-18 win over NOHS last Tuesday after posting earlier wins over SBS, DHSBNHS and SJS-LS.
Meanwhile, Wednesday's results showed BNHS winning over SBS (25-16, 25-13); DHSBNHS over CSAB (25-9, 25-15); and SJS-LS over SBS (25-6, 14-25, 25-20).
On Thursday, DHSBNHS triumphed over BNHS (25-11, 25-19) while NOHS won over struggling CSAB (21-25, 25-21, 25-15).
Today's schedule pits NOHS versus SJS-LS; SBS versus DHSBNHS; BNHS against USLS-IS and NOHS.
The tournament is being organized by the Negros Occidental Volleyball Association (NOVA), headed by Roger Banzuela, in cooperation with the USLS Varsity Sports Office. (HCV)
