FIVE exciting matches await cage fans who will troop to the West Negros University Gym for the resumption of hostilities in the LNA 7 Sports Foundation Inc. 17-Under Basketball tournament, said tournament commissioner and former WNC Mustang Jake Azucena.
Saturday's games kicks off with the 8 a.m. clash between wild card entry Stallion and St. Joseph's School-La Salle, followed by the match up featuring University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (Bacolod) and La Consolacion College-Main at 9:30 a.m., while host West Negros University takes on dangerous Mansilingan Christian Academy in the 11 a.m. encounter.
The two afternoon games pit Living Heritage Christian Academy against University of St. La Salle at 2 p.m. while St. John's Institute takes on St. Benilde School at 3:30 p.m.
On Sunday, scheduled games are USLS taking on sister school St. Joseph's School-La Salle at 8 a.m., LCC-Main facing St. Benilde School at 9:30 a.m. and St. John's Institute playing against UNO-R (Bacolod) in the 11 a.m. schedule.
