Thursday, August 21, 2008 VisMin plumbers' conference held in Bacolod
THE National Master Plumbers Association of the Philippines Inc. (Nampap) recently held their Visayas-Mindanao conference at the L' Fisher Hotel in Bacolod City with the theme "Nampap in Transition: Moving ahead and Beyond."
Conference chairman was Edward Gasambelo, a lifetime member of the association and currently one of the directors of the Central Negros Electric Cooperative (Ceneco) Incorporated.
Some 100 members of their association attended the conference, which was marked with technical sessions.
Nampap national president Jaime Cabase said: "We are indeed happy that our assembly was a resounding success as it also gave our members additional knowledge on their profession."
Meanwhile, Leonor Tripon-Rosario, secretary of the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), announced that their office has adjudged Engr. Edward M. Gasambelo as the 2008 awardee for being "the most outstanding professional of the year in the field of master plumbing."
