US Master and National Master Rodrigo Atotubo puts his winning streak on the line Saturday when he takes on four-time professional chessfest champion Ted Ian Montoyo in a Board 1 featured match in the penultimate round of the ongoing 1st Game Royale Aficionados of Negros Inter-Member Individual open chess tournament.
The event starts at 5:30 p.m. at the lobby of Top's Millennium Plaza Bowling Lanes, 10th-Hilado Streets, Bacolod City.
Other featured matches in Saturday's resumption of hostilities are the Board 2 clash between No. 5 Francis Glen Panes and No. 11 Ellan Asuela; No. 18 Joemarie Tribaco versus No. 6 Josevito Tapulgo (Board 3); No. 8 Hernan Antonio versus No. 29 Gary Baltar (Board 4); and No. 12 Dr. Alfonso Teorima versus No. 30 Jeshua Solquillo (Board 5).
