LTO, Petron to conduct safety riding seminar

WITH his aim of promoting road safety, Mayor Evelio Leonardia has requested the Land Transportation Office (LTO) to hold a safety riding seminar in Bacolod City.

Petron Corporation and LTO, meanwhile, heeded the call of the mayor as they prepare for the Petron Sprint 4T safety riding seminar to be held on October 27, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., at the Benjamin Hall, 4th Lacson Street, Bacolod City.

The program aims to educate motorcycle and tricycle drivers with road safety measures and proper ways of driving and handling motorcycles.

This is also in tandem with Petron's commitment to ensure that their customers are informed of traffic rules and regulations, vehicle maintenance and handling, as well as to introduce the company's superior lubricants and fuel products.

The seminar was initiated by Civil Defense Undersecretary Anthony Golez and LTO Regional 6 Assistant Secretary Bert Suansing.

Participants to the seminar will be given a certificate of completion, Petron ball pens, and ID holder.

They will also be giving away Petron t-shirts and bags.

Petron Lubes Visayas Area sales manager Jun Tolentino, Petron technical service analyst Alvin Becina, Petron Lubes sales executive Dwight Villon, and Petron reseller sales executive Geri Damuag will be present during the seminar.

Those who are interested to participate may call Daphne Quitco at 433-9685, 4339686 or 4339687.
