Thursday, October 23, 2008 Personality development convention at La Consolacion
THE HM 11 Convention and Exhibition Management Class 2008 of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management of La Consolacion College-Bacolod will be organizing an annual convention entitled "Redefine Your Future" with the theme "Personality Development as the Key to Success" at the Sugarland Hotel on October 25, 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
Keynote speaker will be TV host/columnist Cito Beltran followed by three distinguished guest speakers -- Joey Benin, Victoria Rallos, and Michelle May Astudillo -- to discuss personal goal setting/importance of values for a successful future, positive self-image and self projection through power dressing.
The convention aims to create awareness among the participants and organizers on the importance of developing one's personality, enlightening their knowledge of their self-image, increasing their awareness of the life in the world of work, and letting them be inspired to have a positive outlook for the success of their future.
The event is organized by six sections of third year BSHM students and is headed by convention chairperson Baniline Jone V. Abantao, co chairperson Roberto Antonio R. Abello III, and committee heads under the advisory of Leane Adele L. Leyes and Agnes J. Arboleda.
The venue is expected to be jam-packed with around 400 participants, composed mostly of students and some professionals and industry practitioners.
