Thursday, December 04, 2008 DMHS presents 'Parade of characters'
THE English Department of Doņa Montserrat Lopez Memorial High School will present the "Parade of Characters", a costume fantasy promenade, at the school's covered court at 1 p.m. Wednesday.
The show will feature book characters, comic heroes, animated show personages, legendary folks and biblical luminaries.
More than 70 participants will dance, sing, and portray varied characters in this showcase.
The participant will vie for the best portrayed character, best in costume, most authentic performer, darling of the crowd and the striking face of the day.
Wilfredo Hermosura, school principal, said the activity will showcase what the students learned from their English and literature classes.
The outstanding performers will be included in the cast of "Christmas Fantasy" in Silay City on December 13.
