Friday, December 19, 2008 Silay SK to mark youth week
IN LINE with Christmas festivities, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Silay City headed by April Grace O. de los Reyes will celebrate its 'Linggo ng Kabataan' this December 20, 22, 23 and 24.
The activity aims to provide an opportunity for the youth to interact with each other, mobilize the officers of the SK of various barangays to perform their duties and responsibilities and showcase the talents and skills of the youth.
The activity will start with a motorcade from Seaview Subdivision to the city proper. Parlor games and an agape lunch at the covered court will follow. There will be pop dance competition and disco till wee hours in the morning.
On December 22 and 23, the SK chairmen will have their youth camp at Patag Rest and Recreation Area, Brgy. Patag. They will have a team building, assessment, planning and a lecture on environmental awareness and tree planting.
On December 24, they give gifts to identified indigents at Sitio Bonbon, Brgy. E. Lopez.
