M.O.D.E.L C.O.P.S 2009 launched

IN A bid to boost the morale of policemen in the province, the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (Noppo) will recognize performing personnel starting January and every month thereafter.

Initially dubbed as M.O.D.E.L. C.O.P.S. 2009, the 1,500-strong Noppo personnel will be rewarded for their achievements and accomplishments the whole year round wherein the best police commissioned officer (PCO), non-commissioned officer (PNCO) and non-uniformed personnel (NUP) of the month will be named.

The monthly winners will receive prizes courtesy of Senior Superintendent Felix, Noppo director, while the overall winners in their respective categories will be given cash prizes during the Noppo Christmas party in December.

Felix said the recognition is one way of making policemen enthusiastic and interested the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities.
