Bahai hosts 3rd Baguio Tossed Salad Festival

THE Baguio Association of Hotels and Inns (Bahai) will once again host the 3rd Baguio Tossed Salad Festival on September 13 to 20, in cooperation with the City Government and the Department of Tourism (DOT).

In a letter to Mayor Bernardo Vergara, Bahai President Jeannine Chan said the tentative schedule of events are: vegetable parade on Sept. 13; suppliers expo and wall climbing, Sept. 13 and 14; art painting competition, Sept. 16; housekeeping skills competition, Sept. 17; culinary convergence competition, Sept. 18; root crop sculpting competition, Sept. 19 and round three with wall climbing and battle of the bands competitions on Sept. 20.

Meanwhile, the investiture of Chancellor Priscilla Supnet Macansantos, the first appointed chancellor of the University of the Philippines Baguio is slated on August 29 at the UP Bulwagang Juan Luna.

The school's newly appointed vice chancellors and deans will also be presented during the program.
