Suspected child-rapist, 3 most wanted arrested
By Harley F. Palangchao

OPERATIVES of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) in the Cordillera nabbed a 43-year-old incest rape suspect inside his residence at Bermuda Hill last week.

CIDG-CAR director Marvin Bolabola identified the suspect as Marcial Sudicalan Lami-ing, who is also the number 5 most wanted person in the Cordilleras.

He said Lami-ing did not resist arrest and was locked up at the Baguio City Jail pending the hearing of a criminal charge lodged against him.

Meanwhile, three other wanted persons were also collared by elements of the Kalinga Provincial Police Office last week.

Belated police reports identified these suspects as Roman Paclay, alias Binga, Manuel Pullis and Falgui Balangui, all residents of Lacnog in Tabuk town, who were also believed involved in cattle rustling.

While many wanted persons in Kalinga were already neutralized, the Cordillera police still have a hard time arresting Corey Dickpus, the region's number one most wanted man.

Dickpus, former vice mayor of Tabuk town who has been hiding for years now following the filing of several criminal cases against him, has a P1-million reward on his head.
