High school principal, teacher sued for gross negligence

SUMMARY dismissal proceedings were filed against Baguio City National High School (BCNHS) principal Elma Donaal, after the school's parent-teacher association (PTA) president filed another administrative complaint against her and another teacher for alleged gross negligence and for violations of certain provisions of the Code of Professional Ethics for Teachers.

The complainant, Mario Guadaña, said he noted that Donaal and another teacher from the same school allegedly committed these violations when he saw the yearbook of batch 2003, where numerous clerical errors as well as substantive mistakes were seen in the publication.
