100 to vie for Mr. Baguio title
ONE hundred body-building buffs will vie for the Mr. Baguio crown in the annual competition set on September 18 at the Baguio Convention Center as a tribute to the late city councilor and former "Mr. Philippines" titleholder Nick Domalsin.
Made as a regular feature of the city's charter anniversary festivities, the competition is being organized by the Baguio Health Club Gym headed by Nick Domalsin Jr., Dr. Kathger Aradanas and body building promoter Jackson Cayong.
Defending champion Reynold Domalsin leads the cast who will initially compete in five categories, with the top-placers vying for the over-all title.
On tap are the novice class (for beginners), flyweight division (132 lbs-and below), bantamweight (132-142 lbs.), lightweight (142-152 lbs.) and the open weight from 152 pound and over.
Last year, Domalsin pocketed P8,000 cash prize aside from vitamin, supplements and gym equipment worth P10,000 in last year's competition.
