Hajji Alejandro in benefit show for kids' foundation
POPULAR singer Hajji Alejandro and teenage heartthrobs Christian Bautista, Rachelle Ann Go, Christine Reyes, and Iwa Moto are performing in a Baguio Day benefit concert on September 1 at the CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center in Camp John Hay.
Dubbed as "San Punta? Tara_Baguio," the concert is sponsored by the Camp John Hay Manor, the Camp John Hay Golf Club, CAP-John Hay Trade and Cultural Center, CJH Development Corporation, Baguio Tourism 2006 and the City Government of Baguio.
Organized by Powercast Productions, the musical show is for the benefit of Baguio-based, children-oriented organizations and the Share-A-Joy Foundation.
The foundation is engaged in various activities that benefit poor and deserving children from Baguio City and Benguet, the most popular of which is the annual Christmas gift-giving activity that was started by Americans and concerned local residents in Camp John Hay in the late 1970s.
Tickets are reasonably priced at P350.00 each and are available in various outlets around the city, Camp John Hay Manor, CJH DevCo Administration Building at Scout Hill, and the CJH Golf Club. (AOB)
