Win a trip to New York in 'I Luv NY' final week

THE first television program to shoot extensively in a world-class location and GMA Network's most romantic primetime soap, "I Luv NY", closes with a bang this week. Not only will it have a grand Big Apple finale, it also offers viewers a chance to fly to the world's most romantic city, New York!

Love returns to the city that never sleeps, as well-loved pairs Jolina Magdangal and Marvin Agustin, and Jennylyn Mercado and Mark Herras fly back to the Big Apple as the series draws to a close this week, September 4 to 8. Viewers would then be treated this week to one of television's most romantic grand finale and a really exciting bonus: a trip for two to New York with US$,1000 worth of pocket money! Watch the finale week of "I Luv NY" and learn the mechanics on how to join the texting promo, which only requires viewers to text their answer to every episode's trivia questions. Stay tuned from Monday to Friday so as not to miss the trivia questions within the show. The winner will be announced on September 10, Sunday, in SOP! The winner also has the option to convert the New York trip to cash instead.

There's certainly a lot to look forward to in "I Luv NY" this week, as viewers await the resolution to the edge-of-their-seat conflicts that are plaguing the lives and loves of their favorite pairs of sweethearts, Polly (Jolina) and Albert (Marvin), and Natalie (Jennylyn) and Baste (Mark). Will Polly beat her rival, Chi Chi (Arnel Ignacio), at a big-time fashion show and ensure her success as a top designer? Will Albert survive his threatening heart disease, now that he has found a heart donor? Will Natalie's wedding to Seb (Alfred Vargas) push through? Will Baste find success and happiness when he goes back to New York with his mom and leave his dad and grandmother behind? And the biggest question of all: Will Polly and Albert, Natalie and Baste live happily ever after in NYC despite all the things that fate has put between them?

Polly found it hard to believe that Albert has had a terrible heart condition all this time, and it took a real heart attack for her to finally believe him. His faith was renewed when he found a heart donor, but what happens if this last ray of hope is taken away from him? Meanwhile, to what extent will Chi Chi go to beat Polly in the fashion show? He already tried burning down her shop before; can he possibly do something worse out of desperation?

In spite of being engaged to other people, Natalie to Seb and Baste to Ponyang (LJ Reyes), Natalie and Baste can't help but still think of each other. When they finally get the chance to talk and reveal their true feelings, won't it be too late to break things off with their new partners? In fact, Baste will try to do this with Ponyang, but she will threaten to kill herself if he does. How will Baste get out of this dilemma and be with the woman he truly loves? And how could Natalie call off her wedding to Seb after all the arrangements have been made and at the risk of displeasing her father again?

While the future seems bleak for these star-crossed lovers, they will prove that love finds a way to make things all right if they are really meant for each other. Witness the grand Big Apple finale that would melt hearts and make everyone wish they could have their own happy ending right smack in the heart of New York City? And this dream could very well come true for one lucky viewer who will win a trip for two to NYC in "I Luv NY" finale week texting promo. (Press release)
