The DTI said the high outcome of sales is attributed to the increased number of entrepreneurs participating in the event.
The government's full support to the establishment and propagation of micro, small and medium enterprises also contributed, when it implemented a host of initiatives ranging from direct assistance to indirect interventions.
As explained by Presidential Management Staff Director General Cerge Remonde, the forms of direct assistance may be classified in credit access and guarantees, product development and technology intervention, training and marketing support and advocacy, among others.
The activity was a joint project of the DTI and Mountain Province's Office of the Provincial Agriculturist in promoting agricultural and trade products of local producers.
