A police report said Tadeo was on his way to update his remittance sent by a relative from abroad and was sitting beside the road in front of the church in Zone 5, Bangued waiting for his companions to arrive when the killers approached and shot him at close range for no apparent reason on April 26.
The victim, who sustained two gunshot wounds in the abdomen, was rushed to the Seares Hospital for treatment but died while undergoing treatment.
Police said the weapon used to kill Tadeo was believed to be a caliber .45 pistol as evidenced by two spent shells recovered from the crime scene. The motive behind the killing is still being determined.
