The answer might be with the National Economic and Development Authority (Neda) regional office as the agency was requested to assess and evaluate the programs and projects identified in the Baguio-La Trinidad-Itogon-Sablan-Tuba (Bosit) urban master plan.
In a proposed resolution, Councilor Jose Molintas said all local governments within the Blist area must be updated and informed of the program to ensure that they give full cooperation and participation in the realization of the development plan.
He said the assessment would also be used as basis in the formulation of future policies and development efforts for the areas.
To decongest Baguio, the Blist project was formed by virtue of Executive Order 175, signed by then President Fidel Ramos as part of the North Luzon Growth Quadrangle.
Also dubbed as the Metro Baguio concept, the plan aimed to decongest Baguio by spreading development efforts out to neighboring towns. (RO)
