Scouts rule City Hall anew

BOY and girl scouts will govern City Hall anew on Monday under the annual Scout Officials For-A-Day (Sofad) program of the Boy Scouts of the Philippines.

As in the past years, the turn-over ceremonies will be held during the flag-raising ceremonies Monday morning at the City Hall grounds before the scouts will assume their posts.

City Scout Mayor Ramon Randolf Danas of the University of Baguio Science High School (UBSHS) will replace Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr. as the city’s top executive.

Scout vice-mayor Kyla Patrizzer Pernes of Baguio City National High School who will take over from Vice mayor Daniel Fariñas. The scout council will be composed of the following: Scout councilors Gatbunyi Bautista of UBSHS to replace Councilor Rocky Thomas Balisong; Michiko Verson of UBSHS for Coun. Betty Lourdes Tabanda; John Patrick Opulencia of UBHS for Coun. Galo Weygan; Kristine Amor Padtoc of UBSHS for Coun. Perlita Rondez; Ervin Jay Raza of UBHS for Coun. Nicasio Aliping Jr.; Frances Joanne Loy of UBSHS for Coun. Antonio Tabora Jr.; Jonathan Rilloraza of UBSHS for Coun. Erdolfo Balajadia; Yvonne Kay Batulan of UBHS for Coun. Nicasio Palaganas; Van Oliver Dicang of BCNHS for Coun. Isabelo Cosalan Jr.; Mary Joy Mozada of University of the Cordilleras-HS (UCHS) for Coun. Richard Cariño; John Steven Tapican of UBHS for Coun. Randinka Paggao of UBSHS for City Engineer Leo Bernardez Jr.; scout Nestor Kub-aron of Don Bosco for City General Services Officer Romeo Concio; scout Ma. School for Godfrey Cawis of the City Environment and Natural Resources Office; scout Aidan Byrone Madarang of SLU Laboratory Elem. School for Dir. Jose Rapanut of the Dilg; scout Eloisa Joy Ladera of Magsaysay Elem. Scout Marlen Kristal Bunoan of Quezon Elem School will replace Judge Amado Caguioa of RTC Branch 4; scout Gabriel Eric Santos of Don Bosco Elem. School for Judge Antonio Esteves of RTC Branch 5; and scouts Stephany Rayray and Omar Jiramel Digermo both of Josefa Cariño Elem. School for judges Ruben Ayson of RTC Branch 6 and Mona Liza Tabora of RTC Branch 7, respectively.
