In his regular press briefing last Friday, the mayor said the night market would operate for the entire duration of the festival, which is from February 1 to March 2.
"The night market would be for those who will not be accommodated by the executive committee," Bautista said.
The night market will be at Kayang. It will start at 7 and will end at 11 p.m.
The city formerly allowed a night market at Session Road and at Harrison Road, but following opposition from local businessmen and the vendor's failure to abide by the rules, the City Government cancelled it.
The flower festival executive committee warned interested concessionaires that they have not authorized anyone to collect fees for a supposed trade fair at the Rose Garden.
Panagbenga executive committee chairperson Anthony de Leon said the Jose Abad Santos Drive and Session Road are the only areas where they were permitted by the city to operate. (RO)
