Monday, April 21, 2008 SM offers free medical, dental mission
SHOE Mart (SM) CITY Baguio will be holding a two-day medical and dental mission in Baguio and La Trinidad on April 23 and 24.
The mall's "Gamot Para sa Kapwa" program targets 1,500 beneficiaries, including war veterans, in Baguio City. The same number is also targeted for the outreach program in La Trinidad.
Free medicines, tooth extraction, X-ray and electrocardiogram (ECG) will be given to the beneficiaries. ECG and X-ray will be done on doctor's referrals.
The mission will accommodate 50 patients for the ECG, which targets clients aged 40 years old and above. The x-ray services target 100 patients with ages four years and above.
The event will be held within the vicinity of SM and at the Tacdian Elementary School in Barangay Shilan for Baguio and La Trinidad beneficiaries on April 23 and 24.
Registration for the medical and dental program will start at 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Consultations will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (JC)
