A FOURTEEN-year-old student of the Philippine Science High School (PSHS) bagged the championship in the latest Baguio Junior Golf Association monthly tournament at the Baguio Country Club on May 25.
Jemar Mapili, a third year student of PSHS, carded a total of 38 points under the Molave Points System of scoring.
The championship trophy in the Class A Boys Division was won by Paolo Luis Montenegro.
In the Class B Boys Division, winning top honors was Paul Nathan Baguilat followed in first and second runner-up positions by David Axel Cartwright and Ariel Leal.
Topping the Class C Boys Division was Christopher Eric Cartwright, with Elisha Chan and Daniel Ocampo in first and second runner-up positions. In Class D Boys, Jan Zeddrieck Dacawi won the championship trophy, while Knoel Bryan Padilla was the runner-up.
Class E Boys was topped by Mark Freddrick Ratcliffe, with Raphael Munsayac and Carlos Miguel Bautista running close behind. The Class F Boys Division was dominated by Lorenzo Ding. In the Girls Division, Karmina Knoelle Padilla won the Class C Division championship trophy.
Nearest to the pin honors at Hole No. 18 was also awarded to Dacawi, while Baguilat won the most accurate drive trophy at Hole No. 8.
