Thursday, August 21, 2008 List of BCPO chief nominees ready
THE Police Regional Office-Cordillera (Procor) endorsed five officers who could fill the seat vacated of the Baguio City Police Office (BCPO)'s head of office.
Procor Director Eugene Martin said the regional office submitted to Baguio Mayor Reinaldo Bautista Jr. on Wednesday the list of officers recommended to assume as the new chief of the BCPO.
Those recommended for the post are superintendents Cedrick Train, Eduardo Bayangos, Charlo Collado, Agripino Javier and Wilfredo Franco.
The mayor, Martin said, would have 10 days to decide who among them will lead the BCPO.
In the event not one of them would be chosen, Martin said another list of officers would be submitted for the city mayor's consideration.
The BCPO is headed by Superintendent Florante Camuyot as officer-in-charge after Senior Superintendent Moises Guevarra was assigned to the National Capital Region in June. (JC)
