ASIDE from having its former officer-in-charge (OIC) installed as its regular regional chief, three police superintendents were also assigned to the provincial units of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Crime Laboratory in the Cordillera recently.
Senior Superintendent Liza Madeja Sabong, directorial staff chief of the PNP Crime Lab headquarters in Camp Crame, Quezon City issued Administrative Special Order 324 and 325 to designate Superintendent Arthur Vargas, erstwhile OIC of the PNP-Central Luzon (CL) in the Cordillera as its chief and Superintendent Nerino Daciego, Superintendent Viviano Belen, and Superintendent Oscar Mojica as provincial unit heads of the same regional office, respectively.
"Superintendent Vargas, our newly-installed regional chief, will assign them to the different provincial units of the PNP Crime Lab, as soon as they report here," disclosed regional police-community relations officer Hermie Accatan on Wednesday.
She explained with the technical expertise of the newly assigned police superintendents, who have been "seasoned with experience," they fit their key positions.
"The technical expertise of these superintendents is considered invaluable to us, as they have been rendering excellent service to the PNP Crime Lab, and to the PNP as a whole," Accatan pointed out.
However, due to the reassignment of Daciego as the concurrent chief medico-legal officer of the PNP Crime Lab regional office here, she said Superintendent Jaime Rodrigo Leal has also been assigned to a similar position in Region 8. (ENO)
