The La Trinidad Trading Post League was originally conceptualized to build camaraderie among trading post stakeholders including municipal employees, policemen, and firemen.

Specifically, it was aimed to provide the porters a more productive activity where they could spend their free time instead of spending it on liquor after work.

Thirteen teams are seeing action in the tournament, mainly composed of stakeholders of the vegetable trading post; porters, purchasers; truckers; disposers; booth owners; and those working within the trading post and public market area. (Roderick Osis)
