STI College Baguio topped the Cordillera Higher Education Sports Athletics Association (Chesaa) overall standings after the first semester of competitions, according to a report furnished by host school National University-Baguio.
STI bagged five championships in the six allied sports being played in the first semester while AMA Computer College (AMACC) came in at second with three championships tied with Data Center College of the Philippines.
Baguio College of Technology (BCT) on the other hand won two championships in the tournament to claim the third spot. Easter College runs in fourth with one championship won.
STI won in the men's and women's chess, Women's scrabble and darts in men's and women's doubles.
AMACC bagged the championship in the men's and women's table tennis then took home the top honors for the women's singles in darts competition.
Data Center on the other hand proved too hot to handle in the men's and women's volleyball then emerged the top winner in the women's billiards.
BCT ruled the scrabble tournament in the men's division including the men's singles in darts.
Easter College on the other hand won their lone championship in the men's billiard competition.
Other participating schools in the Chesaa meet are host National University Baguio, Baguio School of Business and Technology, NIIT Baguio, Philippine Women's University, and Luzon National Bible College.
Games to be played in the second semester are basketball, badminton, taekwondo and arnis.
