Dacawi bags junior golf championship

FOR the fourth time in a row, Jan Zeddrieck Dacawi romped off with the overall championship trophy in the monthly Baguio Junior Golf Association tournament held in Baguio City last Sunday.

With a gross score of 80 points or 35 Molave points, which is the point system used in the tournament, Dacawi also got the trophy for the most pars at the Baguio Country Club fairways last October 19, besting other players in the Boys Division.

Other special awards were won by Charles Cooper for the most accurate drive at Hole number 8 with Josef Noli Vizcocho getting the nearest to the pin trophy at Hole number 7, the most birdies and the championship trophy in Class A of the Boys Division.

In Class B, Karl Angelo Padilla won the championship with Kevin Andre Pinero at first runner-up position.

Michael John Lacambra also took off at top spot in Class C with Charles Cooper as first runner-up and Ijay Mangili as second runner-up.

In Class D, Knoel Bryan Padilla led the pack, followed by Gian Franco Estandian at first runner-up position and Bede Baeron Pul-oc at second runner-up.

Mark Freddrick Ratcliffe also took the Class E championship with Raphael Joseph Munsayac and Lorenzo Rafael Bangaoet right behind him.

In Class B of the Girls Division, Jan Daphne Hortaleza won the top spot, while Karmina Noelle Padilla took the championship plum in Class C of the same division.
